October is Physical Therapy Month

Dear Employee Partners,

As we kick off Physical Therapy Month tomorrow, October 1st, I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate our incredible licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants. Your God-given skills, talents, and abilities are invaluable as you serve our patients, helping them regain their strength, mobility, and independence.

The unique skills you possess are not just technical; they profoundly impact the lives you touch. Through your dedication, you provide essential services that enhance the quality of life from physical, cognitive, and spiritual perspectives. Your work goes beyond rehabilitation; it empowers individuals to live fuller, more independent lives.

I hope each of you has received my letter and gift by now. These are small tokens of my sincere appreciation for the amazing and transformational work you do every day. I want to recognize you for your daily contributions as we celebrate you and National Physical Therapy Month. If, for any reason, you did not receive one, please let Ashlie Lovins know, and we will ensure you get it right away.

As the CEO, I find it paramount to express my heartfelt gratitude for your exceptional talents and the monumental impact you make in providing holistic and meaningful care to our patients. I truly believe our therapists are among the best in the industry. Your daily contributions create meaningful, lasting changes in the lives of those you serve.

Service

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."

Galatians 5:13 (NIV)

This verse captures the essence of our mission. God teaches us about the importance of serving others, reminding us that our acts of service reflect His love and grace.

In our journey as a faith-based healthcare provider, it is vital to remember that our work is not just a job; it is a calling. The Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians that we are called to a life of service, not out of obligation, but out of love. This love compels us to serve one another, to uplift each other, and to make a profound difference in the lives we touch.

As passionate, skilled providers, we have the incredible opportunity to embody this principle daily. Each interaction with a patient, family member, or colleague is an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to servant leadership. When we serve from a place of love, we not only enhance the well-being of those around us but also create a supportive and compassionate workplace.

As we begin this new week, I encourage each of you to continue loving and serving our patients with the same passion and dedication you always demonstrate. Your work is not just a job; it is a calling that makes a difference in the lives we touch.

Thank you for all that you do. Let’s make this month a celebration of our collective commitment to service.

God bless,

Steven L. Cole

President and Chief Executive Officer
