We are thrilled to welcome a new, full-time Director of Rehab, Jennifer Mills, PT, to our comprehensive therapy team at Perry County Hospital in Richton, Mississippi. Perry County Hospital is a critical access hospital offering outpatient, swing bed, and acute care services to the community. Perry County Hospital is part of the Forrest Health System, and PCH is Mid South's fifth partnership with a Forrest Health hospital.
Effective February 1st, Mid South is now the proud therapy partner at Perry County Hospital. We have plans to update and upgrade their therapy gym, and we have already purchased state-of-the-art therapy equipment for their clinic. We plan to host an open house event when our construction and renovations are complete, which should be in April. Felicia Murrah, CCC-SLP & Mid South South Mississippi Regional Clinical Director will serve as RCD for Perry County's Therapy Program.
We would like to welcome Jennifer Mills, PT, as the Director of Rehab at Perry County. Jennifer is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She graduated from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Jennifer holds a special certification in Functional Dry Needling, a form of pain relief popular for physical therapy patients in an outpatient setting. Jennifer also enjoys working with orthopaedic patients and working with sports medicine cases, as well.
