National Physical Therapy Month

ree

As we turn the calendar to October, we also recognize National Physical Therapy Month, which begins on October 1st. This is a special time to honor and celebrate the vital role our Physical Therapists play in restoring movement, independence, and quality of life. But this observance is more than recognition of a profession; it is a celebration of a calling. It is a ministry of service where you transform lives with healing, hope, and compassion.

To all our Physical Therapists, I would like to express my sincere gratitude. You are an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, serving our hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, outpatient clinics, and beyond. Through your dedication and compassion, you bring to life the mission upon which our company was founded: faith, service, and a promise of a better tomorrow.

The work you do goes beyond clinical care. You meet patients in their most vulnerable moments, restoring function, easing pain, and offering strength and encouragement for the journey ahead. Every treatment session is not only therapy but also a ministry, reflecting the heart of who we are as a faith-based organization.

Our company thrives because of faithful stewards like you. The difference you make cannot be measured only by progress notes, but by lives changed, independence regained, and hope renewed. Through your service, God’s grace and healing power are revealed in countless ways.

A Ministry of Healing

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

Your gift of healing is a profound blessing. This month, and every month, I thank God for placing you here at Mid South as part of our faith family. On behalf of myself, our leadership team, and the entire Mid South Rehab family, thank you for serving with excellence, compassion, and unwavering faith.

May God continue to bless your hands for His service and pour out His favor and abundance upon you and your family.

With deep appreciation,

Steven L. Cole

President and Chief Executive Officer
