A Season of Gratitude: Welcoming Recent Additions to Our Team

Mid South Rehab Services has been blessed with an unbelievable season of growth over the last few months! We praise the Lord for His abundance, grace, and provision for our company, employees, and strategic partners.


As we have welcomed new facilities, we are also constantly adding more therapists and support staff to our team. In this season of reflection, we're proud to introduce the following team members:

Christopher Bendit 

Physical Therapist at UMMC Lakeland Medical Building 

Christopher Bendit attended Gloucester High School and received his bachelor’s degree from James Madison University. He later obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mary Baldwin University. Christopher specializes in treating patients with neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions and injuries. Christopher chose to work in physical therapy because he wanted to help people and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. A huge sports fan, Chris’ hobbies are soccer, golf, and basketball.

Carly Jane Bobo 

Speech Pathologist at Neshoba General Hospital 

Carly Jane Bobo attended Neshoba Central High School and later the Mississippi University for Women, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She also received her master’s degree from Mississippi University for Women, inspired by the range of disorders she could treat in her field. Carly met her husband at 11 years old at the Neshoba County Fair—they were married 9 years later. Carly loves being a mom to her daughter and living the farm life with chickens, goats, horses, cows, and a pig.

Kelly Brister 

Occupational Therapy Assistant at Copiah County Medical Center 

Kelly Brister attended high school at Brookhaven Academy and went on to receive her COTA certification from Holmes Community College. Inspired by the care her grandfather received after two strokes, Kelly took special interest in treating elderly patients. Kelly treats dementia and stroke patients in acute and long-term care settings.

Latreeta Brown 

Office Manager at Covington County Hospital 

Latreeta Brown attended Magee High School and studied General Studies at Hinds Community College. Latreeta has been married for 32 years to her husband, Al, and they have a son, JaJuan. Latreeta is a proud grandmother to Brooklyn, and she enjoys spending time with her family. With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Latreeta values helping others.

Ruth Carnahan 

Office Manager at Perry County General Hospital 

Ruth Carnahan attended Southaven High School and later studied Medical Office Technology at Northwest Mississippi Community College. With a lifetime in the medical field, Ruth values getting to know her patients and assisting them in their care. Ruth enjoys her family and stays involved with her church.

Angela Daisy 

Office Manager at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital 

Angela Daisy attended Bassfield High School and Jones Junior College. Angela moved back home to Prentiss, Mississippi, to be closer to her mother after living in Louisiana. Angela is a mother to three boys: Hunter, Tanner, and Gabe. She adores her dogs: Zeus, Gaia, and Ares.

Director of Rehab Services and Physical Therapy Assistant at Neshoba General Hospital 

Mary Madelyn Denton attended Lamar High School and received a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and education from William Carey University. She received her PTA certification from Meridian Community College.

Brooke Dexter 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Pinnacle of Oxford 

Brooke Dexter attended Winston Academy in Louisville, Mississippi, and later received her PTA certification from Hinds Community College. Brooke chose physical therapy as her career because of the relationships she could build with her patients. She married her husband, Collin, and moved to Oxford from her family’s farm. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and cooking.

Jartavius Dobbs 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Collins Veterans Home 

Jartavius Dobbs attended Columbus High School and later received a bachelor’s degree from William Carey University. He later obtained his PTA certification from Concorde Career College. Jartavius is originally from Aberdeen, Mississippi, and grew up playing basketball. Basketball inspired his interest in physical therapy and shaped his career.

Kay Durant 

Physical Therapist at Neshoba General Hospital 

Kay Durant has been a physical therapist for more than 30 years. She attended Philadelphia High School and received her education in physical therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Kay has practiced in Alabama and Colorado, working in various settings. Kay and her husband have 2 children and several pets. Kay’s father inspired her to become a physical therapist, and years later, she reflects that he was right to make that recommendation.

Carrie Gentry 

Speech Language Pathologist at Winston Medical Center 

Carrie Gentry attended Louisville High School and received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi University for Women. Carrie takes special interest in rehabilitating patients suffering from dysphagia. A mother of two, Carrie enjoys spending time with family and friends, specifically boating, swimming, and fishing. She enjoys being outside and reading in her free time.

Erica Crimm Grossman 

Director of Rehab Services and Physical Therapy Assistant at South Sunflower County Hospital 

Erica Grossman attended Manchester Academy and later studied at Mississippi State University. She obtained her PTA certification from Hinds Community College and has a special interest in treating sports injuries and geriatric patients. Erica and her husband, Joe, have 2 children and enjoy their life on their farm. Having grown up in a house filled with athletes, Erica is passionate about helping athletes recover from injuries.

Sherry Harris 

Director of Rehab and Physical Therapy Assistant at Neshoba General Outpatient Rehab

Sherry Harris attended Meridian High School and later obtained further education from Meridian Community College. Sherry came from a family of nurses and knew she wanted to pursue healthcare, but with her experience in sports, physical therapy turned out to be the best fit. Married 43 years, Sherry and her husband have 2 daughters and 5 grandkids. When she isn’t working, Sherry enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Victora Harrison 

Speech Pathologist at Neshoba General Hospital 

Victoria Harrison attended Union High School and later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Mississippi State University. She got her master’s degree from Mississippi University for Women and specializes in treating swallowing disorders and neurological conditions. Victoria appreciates the broad spectrum of diseases and etiologies her role allows her to treat. She is married and has a young son.

Brittany Haynes 

Occupational Therapist at Highlands Care Center 

Brittany Haynes attended Section High School and later received a bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She obtained her master’s degree from the University of South Alabama. Brittany chose occupational therapy as her career path because she wanted to help patients regain their independence. Brittany and her husband, Dustin, have 2 sons, Austin and Rylan. She enjoys spending her free time watching her boys play a variety of sports.

Whitney D. Horner 

Director of Rehab Services and Physical Therapist at Highland Hills Medical Center 

Whitney Horner attended Memphis Harding Academy and later graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She later received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Whitney always took interest in physical therapy, but after tearing her ACL in her senior year of high school, she developed an even deeper desire to connect with and help patients. With a genuine sense of empathy and specialized clinical training, Whitney supports her patients wholeheartedly through their recovery journeys.

David Joseph 

Director of Rehab and Physical Therapy Assistant at UMMC Madison

David Joseph attended Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and later received his education in physical therapy from Hinds Community College. David and his wife of 30 years, Kimberly, have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. When he isn’t working, David enjoys hunting, football, and spending time with his family.

Krissy Keiser 

Physical Therapist at UMMC Colony Park South

Krissy Keiser attended Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colorado, and later received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi. She completed her graduate program through the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and she specializes in dry needling, pelvic health, and sports. Krissy also works with geriatric patients. Before becoming a physical therapist, Krissy worked as a physical therapy technician and handled authorizations, billing, and scheduling. Now, she and her husband, Hunter, live in Madison, Mississippi, with their rescue pup, Scarlet. Krissy enjoys kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, and being outdoors.

Jessie Keyes 

Occupational Therapy Assistant at Winston County Nursing Home 

Motivated to help all patients function their best, Jessie Keyes chose to pursue her education in occupational therapy at Pearl River Community College. She attended Forest County Agricultural High School, which was where she learned more about the medical field and decided it might be a good fit. Currently, Jessie lives in Starkville, Mississippi, and she and her boyfriend, Chase, enjoy their beloved dog and cat. Jessie loves attending sporting events at Mississippi State, and she enjoys traveling as well.

Rochae Leavey 

Rehab Technician at Neshoba General Hospital 

Rochae Leavey attended Kemper County High School in DeKalb, Mississippi, and has been in the medical field for over 30 years. Rochae is a mom to 3 daughters, and she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and friends.

Land Lesley 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Neshoba General Hospital 

Land Lesley attended Philadelphia High School and later received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. Land is a wife and mother with compassion for others—she chose the physical therapy field so that her mission each day can be to provide compassionate care to improve patients’ lives.

Matthew Mackey 

Office Manager UMMC Madison

Matthew Mackey attended Northwest Rankin High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University, where he worked as a student athletic trainer. Growing up playing basketball, Matthew’s goal has always been to help athletes recover and reach their utmost potential. He values the skills of discipline, teamwork, and leadership that he learned from the game still today.

Aubriana McFarland 

Speech Pathologist at Field Memorial Hospital 

Aubriana McFarland attended South Delta high school and later received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Mississippi. She received her master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri. Aubriana chose to work in the therapy field after individuals in her family suffered from strokes and lost communication skills. Motivated as a healer, Aubriana specializes in cognition and holistic motivational therapy. She takes pride in helping others restore their power.

Director of Rehab and Occupational Therapist at Noxubee General Hospital 

Jevorius Prince attended Kemper County High School and later received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He later obtained his Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Belmont University.

Diamond Abney-Reeder 

Rehab Technician at UMMC Grenada 

Diamond Abney-Reeder attended Coffeeville High School and later studied Medical Assisting at Carrington College. Diamond has a 5-year-old son and is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. Diamond is a self-professed “homebody” but enjoys getting out in nature.

Kristi Reeder 

Occupational Therapist at Magnolia at Oxford Commons 

Kristi Reeder attended Senatobia High School and later received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. She obtained her education in occupational therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Kristi and her husband, Justin, have lived in Oxford for roughly 20 years, and they have 3 children. Their family enjoys attending sporting events and traveling.

Markarius Scott 

Physical Therapist at UMMC Grenada 

Markarius Scott attended Cleveland Central High School and later graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a degree in Kinesiology. Markarius received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from William Carey University. He is interested in treating musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions and enjoys impacting a patient’s quality of life for good.

Grace Kelley Sepko 

Speech Pathologist at Yalobusha General Hospital 

Grace Kelley attended Taylor High School in Cleves, Ohio. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Bowling Green State University. After an internship in a hospital, Grace switched her focus from pediatrics to the rehab side of speech, language, and swallowing. She and her husband, Jackson, live in Oxford.

Erin Smithers 

Director of Rehab and Occupational Therapy Assistant at Meadville Convalescent Home 

Erin Smithers attended West Lincoln School and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Bo. Erin received her COTA certification from Pearl River Community College, choosing a career in therapy because of her passion for caring for others. An avid television series and reading fan, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, specifically her nieces. Erin is thankful for the Lord and His provision in guiding her path.

Occupational Therapist at Neshoba General Hospital 

Whitney Stokes attended Neshoba Central High School and later received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. She obtained her master’s degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center to become an occupational therapist. Whitney enjoys spending time with her son, Jett, and teaching him to make a positive difference in the world. Her desire to help others heal and lend a compassionate, helping hand was the reason she chose the field for her career.

Speech Pathologist at Collins Veterans Home 

Sydney Stutzman attended Parklane Academy and later received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi. Sydney chose speech pathology as her career field because she wants to help patients advocate for their wants and needs.

Kymberli Thomas 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Pine Crest Guest Home 

Kymberli Thomas attended Gentry High School in Indianola, Mississippi, and later received a bachelor’s degree from Alcorn State University. She obtained her PTA certification from Hinds Community College. Kymberli is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and she values family, community, and creativity. She enjoys traveling, trying new things, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.

Paige Phillips Threadgill 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Neshoba General Nursing Home 

Paige Phillips Threadgill is a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and attended Neshoba Central High School. Later, she received her PTA certification from Meridian Community College. Paige has enjoyed treating patients in a home health and outpatient setting. She and her husband, Garrett, have a son, Rhys, and enjoy playing soccer, baseball, and golf.

Dale Touchstone 

Physical Therapist at UMMC Colony Park South

Dale Touchstone attended Lamar High School and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College. He graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, inspired to help patients through hard times, regain or improve movement, and decrease their pain. Dale is amazed by the human body and its composition. He cherishes his Christian faith and being a dad and husband.

Josie Turner 

Speech Pathologist at 360 Total Rehab in Flowood 

Josie Turner attended Manchester Academy in Yazoo City, Mississippi. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Mississippi and specializes in cognitive-linguistic, speech-language, voice, and dysphagia therapy for the geriatric and pediatric population. Josie met her husband, Alex, at Ole Miss, and they enjoy going on walks, eating good food, and hanging out with their cat.

Beth Vanderloo 

Speech Language Pathologist at The Arbor 

Beth attended Bayou Academy in Cleveland, Mississippi, and later received her bachelor’s degree from Delta State University. She obtained her master’s degree from the University of Mississippi and works with patients struggling with swallowing disorders. She also has experience treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease and Down Syndrome. Beth has experience with both geriatric and pediatric patient populations. She has 3 children and credits her knowledge as a speech pathologist as a helpful tool in raising her daughter, who has Down Syndrome.

Jordan Vanlandingham 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Noxubee General Hospital 

Inspired by her father’s time in therapy, Jordan Vanlandingham chose to pursue physical therapy after graduating from Winston Academy in Louisville, Mississippi. Jordan is recently married and excited to begin this new chapter.

Amy Wilborn 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Neshoba General Hospital 

Amy Wilborn attended Neshoba Central High School and later received her PTA certification from Meridian Community College. At the age of 41, Amy went back to school to get her education in physical therapy—a decision she is so thankful to have made. She taught school for 17 years before her therapy career began. Amy is married to Jimmy Wilborn, and together they have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Their family enjoys camping and spending time together.

Bentley Williams 

Physical Therapy Assistant at UMMC Grenada 

Bentley Williams attended North Delta School in Batesville, Mississippi, and later received her PTA certification from Northwest Mississippi Community College. Bentley enjoys working with orthopedic patients. She’s a mom to a 2-year-old daughter and is engaged to be married in September of 2026. Bentley is a dog lover with three fur babies of her own.

Madison Woodard 

Speech Pathologist at Pearl River County Hospital and Nursing Home 

Madison Woodard attended Picayune Memorial High School and later received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. She obtained her master’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University with a passion to help patients through their recovery process. Madison enjoys supporting patients in maintaining their strengths and enhancing their quality of life at each stage of aging. Madison enjoys riding around her neighborhood with her fiancé, Andrew, and swimming in their new pool.

Diana Wooten 

Office Manager for Neshoba General Nursing Home 

Diana Wooten attended Edinburg High School in Carthage, Mississippi, and later studied at Meridian Community College. Diana recently moved to Cedar Bluff and enjoys tending to her farm animals. Diana has a son named Codi and spends her time with family and friends in the area. With a love for the facility patients and the work the staff does, Diana enjoys her role in outpatient therapy.

Alison Beatriz Perez-Zapata 

Physical Therapy Assistant at Choctaw Residential Center 

Alison Beatriz Perez-Zapata attended Northeast Lauderdale High School and later received her PTA certification from Meridian Community College. Alison was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy after her father underwent rehabilitation after a serious accident. That experience revealed the power of care, resilience, and recovery to Alison. Originally from Meridian, Mississippi, Alison feels most at home in the outdoors, spending her free time walking, fishing, and gardening.
