We are thrilled to announce the hiring of our new, full-time occupational therapist, Reagan Arnwine, OT. Reagan will be serving at Town Village at Audubon Park in Memphis, TN. Reagan started her career with us part-time, and we are thrilled to offer her a full-time position working with the employee partners and patients she has already grown to love.


Reagan graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, and she received her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.


Reagan has experience in a variety of health care settings, and she takes special interest in working with patients suffering from neurological conditions. She has spent much time with spinal cord injury patients as well.


Reagan has recently relocated to the Bartlett, TN, area. She is a creative person, always looking for a craft. She enjoys musical theatre and playing with her dog as well. We are thrilled to have Reagan as a full-time member of the Mid South family!

 
 
 

Our Annual Compliance & Ethics Training event has been moved to Saturday, March 27, 2021. Our event will still take place at the Clyde Muse Center in Pearl, Mississippi. We are looking forward to a beneficial and safe experience. Continuing education hours will also still be provided.


We are thrilled to announce our guest speaker for this year's event Sabrena McCarley, MBA-SL, OTR/L, CLIPP, RAC-CT, QCP, FAOTA. Sabrena has an extensive background in skilled nursing rehabilitation, working closely with executives and personnel ranging from administrators to therapists. She is well-versed in a multitude of industry regulations, budget and staff management, operational management, quality patient care, and customer service. She is also a member of the Living in Place Advisory Panel and actively involved in the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) leadership as Chair for Advocacy and Government Affairs.

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of our new, full-time speech language pathologist, Amanda Lee, SLP. Amanda will be serving as our Director of Rehab Services for Azalea Gardens Nursing Center in Wiggins, Mississippi, as well as providing quality care for the speech needs of residents.


Amanda graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders, and she received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Motevallo.


We feel that Amanda's unique skillset as as a speech therapist will align perfectly with the needs of the Azalea Gardens community, as she takes special interest in gerontology, tracheostomy and speaking valves, and dysphagia. Amanda is VitalStim certified and Trach and Vent Care certified as well.


Amanda has recently relocated from Tennessee, and she, her husband, Alex, and their pets are thrilled to be closer to family. We are honored to welcome Amanda to the Mid South family, and we know that her leadership ability coupled with her clinical background will make her a wonderful asset to the Azalea Gardens community.
