I am delighted to announce that Korlynn Trice has joined our Mid South family as the new Director of Revenue Cycle. Korlynn received her undergraduate and master’s degree in healthcare administration from Belhaven University. She brings with her over 20 years of solid healthcare experience, having worked at esteemed institutions such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi, Sta-Home Health and Hospice, St. Dominic’s Hospital, and TrustCare Health, where she served as the Director of Revenue Cycle Management. Her comprehensive knowledge and expertise in front-end processes, credentialing, revenue cycle management, and comprehensive management oversight make Korlynn uniquely qualified for this position.

Beyond her exceptional qualifications, Korlynn possesses remarkable interpersonal communication skills, an unwavering passion for her work, an incredibly strong work ethic, and a hands-on approach to leading and supporting her team. She resides in Madison, MS, and she is a mother of two beautiful children; Aubrey is her 10-year-old daughter who attends Mannesdale Upper Elementary, and she loves to dance. Her son, Jaylon, is a 20-year-old who serves in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

We are beyond grateful to have Korlynn join our Mid South community. I am confident that Korlynn will be a tremendous asset to our company, and I am extremely grateful that God has opened this opportunity for her and us!

We are excited to share that Mid South and UMMC GRENADA Hospital co-sponsored the 2nd Annual Sprint to Health 5k Race this past Saturday, May 11, which benefited the UMMC Patient Need Fund. The purpose of this fund is to assist with out-of-pocket expenses that can cause stress on individuals and families during medical crises, and it seeks to help those patients who need a helping hand. We are proud to say that all funds raised during this event will stay in Grenada, supporting Grenada patients and the Grenada community.

Thank you to everyone who made this event successful! Thank you, Mississippi Race Timing, to our Mid South ESC, UMMC Grenada teams, therapists, and volunteers. Thank you to Grenada Law Enforcement and the City of Grenada. Their collective efforts made this event a huge success. A special thank you to all of our participants and winners!

Helping others is at the core of what we do at Mid South. We come together to support our communities and to help those in need, and this aligns with our core values and our commitment to honor God through the stewardship of the resources He has bestowed upon us.

We are excited to announce Hanna Hamilton, PTA, full-time physical therapy assistant, has joined our team at the Veterans Home in Kosciusko!

Hanna graduated from Holmes Community College with an Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Hannah chose physical therapy to make a positive impact on others and assist people in regaining functional independence. She is especially interested in wound care, geriatrics, CVA, and Fall prevention.

When not treating patients, Hanna enjoys spending free time outdoors - kayaking, fishing, hunting, and in the mountains. Most important to her is spending quality time with family and her fiancé.

Hannah is a dedicated and hardworking individual with a top-notch work ethic, and we are excited to partner with her. She brings a wealth of expertise to the table, and we know she will make a significant impact in the lives of our patients. We look forward to her progress.
