Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home Welcomes Meredith Lee

We are happy to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Occupational Therapist, Meredith Ann Lee, OTD OTR L. She serves at Shearer Richardson Nursing Home in Okolona, MS.

Meredith received her Bachelor of Kinesiology from Mississippi State University and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In addition, she is especially interested in neuro, ortho, and SCI populations. Meredith chose to pursue occupational therapy after her grandmother had a stroke when Meredith was in junior high. She watched the OT team work with her grandmother in her recovery. The impact OT made sparked an interest in Meredith. OT consistently brings life back to those who have suffered from an injury, diagnosis, or disorder, and Meredith enjoys seeing these patients progress to become the best versions of themselves. We know she is ready to take on the occupational therapy needs at Shearer-Richardson, and we look forward to seeing her patients’ recovery journeys.

Meredith is close to her family. They have been very involved throughout her life, schooling, and career. She enjoys playing and watching sports, being with friends in new cities, and exploring the outdoors during her free time.

Mid South Rehab values continuing education and promoting exceptional leaders. We are delighted to have Meredith as a partner. We look forward to many opportunities for her to further her education and specialize in certification and training.
