March of 2026 New Hires

Mid South is pleased to welcome the following professionals to our team! We're excited to introduce March's new hires to you.

Deliah Boone

Insurance Verification Specialist at Employee Support Center

Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Deliah Boone attended Wingfield High School and later received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Professional Studies from Mississippi University for Women. She’s worked in the healthcare field for 30 years because she enjoys helping people. Deliah has two daughters aged 23 and 17, and she also has a baby grandson. When she isn’t working, Deliah enjoys spending time with her family (spoiling her grandbaby) and playing cards.  

Aliyah Bracey

Occupational Therapist Assistant at Copiah County Medical Center 

Aliyah Bracey attended Northwest Rankin High School and later Holmes Community College, where she received her certification to become an occupational therapist assistant. Aliyah was inspired to choose healthcare for her career by her family, as many of her family members work in the field. Aliyah comes from a close family including her parents, an older sister, and a younger brother. She and her mother share the responsibility of serving as caretakers for Aliyah’s 93-year-old grandmother.  

Carly Flautt 

Physical Therapist Assistant at Bolivar Medical Center 

Carly Flautt attended North Delta School in Batesville, Mississippi, before she received her PTA certification from Holmes Community College. There, she was recognized with a Physical Therapist Assistant Academic Award for outstanding academic performance in the program. Carly is a new graduate and excited to work under a large group of veteran therapists at Bolivar Medical Center. As she progressed through the PTA program, Carly’s choice to make physical therapy her career was confirmed through her classes, skills labs, and clinical rotations. She is looking forward to treating patients in the Mississippi Delta area, where she calls home. Carly spends most of her time with family and friends, specifically adoring her niece and nephew. She also has a cockapoo named Macey. Her hobbies include reading, water skiing, going to the beach, exercising, and being outdoors.  

Ryan Phipps 

Occupational Therapist Assistant and Director of Rehab at Pinnacle of Oxford 

Ryan Phipps attended Tupelo High School and later received his certification to become an occupational therapist assistant at Itawamba Community College. Ryan is no stranger to the staff and residents at Pinnacle of Oxford; he's been working as PRN therapy staff at the facility for nearly two years. Ryan loves the assisted living patient population and is thrilled to transition into his new, full-time role as Director of Rehab for the facility. He is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialists (CSRS). Ryan is also a dad to two boys, ages 17 and 11.  

Elizabeth Smith 

Assistant Office Manager at Copiah County Medical Center 

Elizabeth Smith attended Loyd Star Attendance Center and later Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She and her spouse have been blessed with five children and ten grandchildren. However, Elizabeth claims it’s their three dogs who run the house. 

Heather Windham 

Office Manager at Covington County Hospital 

Heather Windham attended Byram High School, and she chose a career in healthcare because she enjoys helping others. She believes we are all put on this earth for a reason, and she always tries to remember that a little kindness goes a long way. Heather has two adult children, Jon and Danielle. When she isn’t working, Heather enjoys racing, which has been a beloved hobby since she was a teenager.
