Highland Hills Medical Center Outpatient Therapy Clinic Ribbon Cutting & Open House

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Mid South Rehab Services celebrated the Grand Opening of Highland Hills Medical Center's Outpatient Therapy Clinic. It was an exciting, memorable evening for our staff, partners, and the wonderful guests and members of the community who came to show their support.

The state-of-the-art therapy clinic was uniquely built in space previously part of Highland Hills' large general waiting area. Now, what was extra space is a fully-equipped therapy gym with two private treatment rooms. Patients can now receive physical, occupational, and speech therapy services from our skilled, compassionate team closer to home and in their local community hospital.

Cutting the ribbon and leading the therapy team at Highland Hills is Whitney Horner, PT, DPT. Whitney is certified in functional dry needling, a sought-after pain relief solution that relieves muscle tension. With a focus on evidence-based treatment and her upbeat, "can-do" attitude, Whitney treats her patients and leads her team in a way that will benefit the new therapy program tremendously. Alexandria “Zann” Harris, OT; Megan Sigler, CCC-SLP, and Karlisha Robinson, Office Manager, complete the comprehensive therapy team.

The therapy team at Highland Hills provides comprehensive, skilled services for patients

across all age groups. Services are designed to help patients regain mobility, function, and

independence. Specialized services available include functional dry needling, myofascial

release, soft tissue mobilization, mechanical traction, game-ready, and E-stim therapy.
