We enjoyed our annual Chili Cookoff at the ESC today, featuring five delicious recipes of homemade chili! It's a rainy, surprisingly chilly day in Ridgeland, so a warm bowl of chili was the perfect lunch!
Taking second place was husband and wife duo, Mike and Amy Nichols! (Number 1) Great job!
Winning first place was Kayla McInnis with her family recipe (Number 4) Good work!
Honorable mention to Penny's Paleo Sweet Potato recipe, Lynn Lea's delicious recipe, and Amy Klaas' light, chickpea and chicken recipe! Special thanks to Karen Cole for bringing her wonderful homemade dip as a side, as well as Shelly's scrumptious chocolate pie. Thank you to EVERYONE who brought desserts, sides, and add-ons.
