I am proud to announce that we will be expanding our services to include comprehensive management therapy services at Copiah Medical Center in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, effective February 1. This beautiful 25-bed critical access hospital was recently constructed and is led by Dr. William Morgan, MD, who serves as the CEO, and Kortney Gaddy, CFO.

Dr. Morgan brings a wealth of experience to his role, combining his background as an internal medicine physician with extensive C-suite leadership expertise, including his previous position as COO of a large health system. Dr. Morgan is an innovative and forward-thinking leader who exemplifies the principles of servant leadership. His commitment to clinical excellence and deep dedication to the well-being of his patients, employees, and the surrounding community truly set him apart as a transformative leader.

During our recent transitional leadership meeting, we had the privilege of meeting Cameron Newell, PTA, DOR, and his therapy team at the hospital. Our entire leadership team was equally impressed by Cameron’s exemplary approach to leadership. His strong sense of purpose, passion, and dedication were evident within minutes of meeting him. Cameron takes great pride in his leadership role, and it is evident that God has blessed him with the ability to inspire and guide others.

In addition to these developments, I am excited to announce that the hospital is in the process of constructing a new Medical Office Building (MOB) on its campus. This facility will encompass a primary care center, pain management services, and a state-of-the-art outpatient therapy clinic designed under Cameron’s leadership. As their strategic partner, we are committed to investing in cutting-edge therapy equipment to ensure the highest standard of care. The projected opening date for this new facility is August 1 of this year.

We are grateful that God has blessed us with this partnership with Dr. Morgan and his team. We look forward to supporting Cameron by providing him and his team with the clinical tools and resources they need to expand services for the community of Hazlehurst. We are truly thankful for this new partnership.

Blessings,

Steven L. Cole

President and Chief Executive Officer
