We are thrilled to announce the hiring of a full-time speech therapist for NMMC-West Point - Katelyn Ryan, SLP. We know that Katelyn is prepared to take on the speech therapy needs of your community, and we can’t wait to see how her patients recover. We think that her understanding, kind disposition and wonderful clinical training will make her a special addition to the therapy team at North Mississippi Medical Center West Point.


Katelyn is a recent graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She received both her undergraduate and graduate level degrees from IUP. She enjoys working with a variety of patients, and she takes special interest in treating dysphagia and traumatic brain injuries.


We welcome Katelyn to this incredible team of therapists led by Director of Rehab, Jordan McComic, PTA. The team also consists of Corey Watson, DPT; Susan Miller, PTA; Jessica Wheat, OT; and Kimberly Burrage, office manager. Congratulations and welcome to the team, Katelyn!


 
 
 

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of a full-time speech language pathologist, Shane Brotcher, SLP. We know that Shane is prepared to take on the speech therapy needs of your community, and we cannot wait to see his patients’ recovery journeys.


Shane received his undergraduate degree from The University of Southern Mississippi, and he went on to obtain his Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Southern as well.


We are so honored to announce the hire of such an accomplished, dedicated therapist to care for and grow the speech therapy services at Sharkey Issaquena Community Hospital & Nursing Home.

 
 
 

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of a second, full-time physical therapist to our therapy team at South Sunflower County Hospital.

Kayla Love, DPT, is prepared to take on the increasing need for physical therapy in your community!

Kayla graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesciology. She graduated from The University of Mississippi Medical Center with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Kayla is also LSVT Big certified, which is a certification dedicated to helping Parkinson’s patients achieve a higher level of physical functioning.


Kayla is joining a wonderful team of therapists headed by Director of Rehab Services, Chrissy Herrington, DPT. Our team is additionally comprised of Blair Harper, OT, with additional therapy assistants, rehab technicians, and more. We are thrilled to add Kayla to our comprehensive therapy program, and we wish her all the best!
