We are excited to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Speech Language Pathologist, Kaleigh Gordon, SLP. She serves at 360 Total Rehab in Flowood, MS.

Kaleigh grew up in Hattiesburg and graduated from High School at Presbyterian Christian School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi and her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Samford University. Within her field, she is especially interested in dysphagia and language. We know Kaleigh is ready to take on the speech therapy needs of the community, and we look forward to seeing her patients’ recovery journeys. Kaleigh chose to pursue a career in speech therapy due to her youngest brother suffering from apraxia. She saw improvements in his intelligibility and communication while working with an SLP.

Kaleigh’s hobbies include spending time with friends and family, running, shopping, writing, kickboxing, and hiking with her dog - a five-month-old golden doodle full of energy.

We are excited to have Kaleigh join our team at our 360 Total Rehab Flowood location and know she will have opportunities to improve our company and our patients’ lives in her new role.

Mid South Celebrated Glioblastoma Awareness Day on Wednesday, July 19. This day is set aside each year in July to raise awareness and shine a light on Glioblastoma Brain tumors, the most common, complex, treatment-resistant, and deadliest type of brain cancer.

This day was to support survivors and their loved ones, to remember those who have lost their fight, and to honor those luminaries working toward a cure for this devastating disease.

Nikki Davis, our Mid South HIM Clerk/Insurance Verifications lost her husband, Jonny on July 1, 2021, to this disease. On this awareness day, Nikki's daughter Myia shared a moving story about her father and their family's experience during his illness. Mr. Cole spoke words of encouragement and shared about his neighbor's experience with this disease.
