We are excited to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Occupational Therapist, Mary Proctor. She will serve at Town Village at Audubon Park in Memphis.

Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She chose occupational therapy because of her background in volunteering with adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Volunteering grew her passion for working with and helping others achieve meaningful and independent lives.

Mary is married to John Jordon, both native Mississippians now living in Memphis with three dogs. When not helping patients, Mary enjoys spending time outside, hosting family and friends for dinner parties, and exercising.

Mid South Rehab values continuing education and promoting exceptional leaders. We are excited to have Mary as a partner. We look forward to many opportunities for her to further her education and specialize in certification and training.

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Director of Rehab and Occupational Therapy Assistant, Amanda Jones, OTA. She will be serving at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital ECF.

Amanda received her Associate of Applied Science degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Pearl River Community College. She chose occupational therapy because she enjoys helping the geriatric population. Growing up, Amanda watched her mother nursing at their local Skilled Nursing facility. Amanda knew from an early age she wanted to work with geriatric patients. Amanda says that she counts it an honor to have a hand in working with what could be the greatest generation of all time - she loves listening to their words of wisdom and amazing stories from years gone by. With a servant’s heart like hers, we know she is ready to take on the occupational therapy needs of the community, and we look forward to seeing her patients’ recovery journeys.

Amanda is married to Bradferd Jones, and they have four children. Jacob is 17 years old, Gracie is 15, Mackayla is 10, and Leroy is 6. Their children attend West Marion and are involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. The family attends Holly Springs Baptist Church. When Amanda isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family, playing the piano, shopping, and watching TV.

Mid South Rehab values continuing education and promoting exceptional leaders. We are excited to have Amanda as a partner. We look forward to many opportunities for her to further her education and specialize in certification and training. We know she will have opportunities to improve our company and our patients in these new roles.
