We are thrilled to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Physical Therapist, Maggie Mitchell, DPT. She will serve at our strategic partner facility, Donalson Care Center, in Fayetteville, TN.


Maggie graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was awarded her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Bradley University. In addition, she is a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA). She is especially interested in geriatrics, fall risk reduction, and balance re-education. Maggie is excited to work with residents at Donalson Care Center. She loves helping others achieve their potential and recover from illness or injury in order to return to their best level of function.


Maggie lives on a small farm in the country with her husband and dogs.


We are delighted to have Maggie as a partner in our company, and we look forward to her progress and know she will have opportunities to improve our company, Donalson Care Center, and our patients’ lives in her new role.

 
 
 

We are delighted to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant, Milessa Gatheright, COTA/L. She serves at Greenbriar Nursing Center.


Milessa received her Bachelor of Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and her Associate of Applied Science as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Pearl River Community College. In addition to serving at Greenbriar Nursing Center, Milessa will serve at Azalea Gardens as needed. We look forward to seeing her patient’s recovery journeys.


Milessa is married and has two children, an 18-year-old son, and a 10-year-old daughter. Her husband is retired from the Army and has started his first year of teaching at Biloxi High School. Milessa plans to return to college in the Fall to obtain her master’s in elementary education.


Mid South Rehab values continuing education and promoting exceptional leaders. We are excited to have Milessa as a partner and look forward to many opportunities for her to further her education and specialize in certification and training. We know she will have opportunities to improve our company and the lives of our patients.

 
 
 

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of full-time Office Manager Heather King, ROM. She serves at Simpson General Hospital.


Heather graduated from Magee High School. She has been married to her best friend for 33 years. They have two boys, Austin and Brock, and both are married. She has two grandchildren, Brock’s stepdaughter and son. Heather enjoys the outdoors. Even though she loves going to the beach, her heart is in the Smokey and Cherokee Mountains. Heather and her husband love to garden and then cook with their homegrown vegetables. Her hobbies include baking, deep-sea fishing, riding in her son’s boat, hunting, and riding ATVs.


Heather is a thirteen-year double mastectomy cancer survivor, and she is especially interested in serving children, children and adults with cancer, and geriatric patients. The Rehab Office Manager in a therapy clinical setting plays a vital role on our therapy team. With empathy towards others and a heart to serve, we know Heather is the perfect fit.


We are excited to have Heather as a partner in our company. We look forward to many opportunities for her to progress in her new role. We know she will have opportunities to improve our company and our patients’ lives as Rehab Office Manager.
