We are excited to announce our new full-time Physical Therapist, Nicole Kische, DPT, who serves at Winston Medical Center.

Nicole, originally from California, has had an impressive educational journey beginning in 2017, when she received her Associate’s Degree from Central Oregon Community College. At the time, she was dual enrolled at Oregon State University and a member of the OSU alpine ski team! In 2019, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University and was frequently listed on the Dean’s List. With honors, she was awarded her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2024 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah and received the Professional Engagement Award.

Nicole is passionate about promoting the return to recreational and daily activities for those with disabilities. In addition, she has experience with rehabilitation for amputees and prosthetic users and the associated orthopedic and neurological impairments that come with limb loss. We know she is ready to help with the challenges patients are experiencing. We can’t wait to see her patients’ recovery journeys.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Nicole loves the mountains and outdoor recreation. She enjoys alpine skiing, mountain biking, and camping. If she’s not outside, you’ll probably find her reading a book, doing a puzzle, or experimenting with a new recipe.

We are grateful to have Nicole join our Mid South therapy team at Winston Medical Center and are confident she will be a tremendous asset to the community. Her expertise and dedication to enhancing the quality of our patients’ lives will make a positive impact.
