We are excited to announce our new full-time Physical Therapy Assistant, Grace Compton, PTA. She serves at Noxubee General Hospital.

Grace received her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Meridian Community College. In addition, Grace was presented the following awards and honors at MCC: Jenny Bryan Most Outstanding PTA Student Award, MCC Circle of Excellence, Highest Honors Cords, PTA Class President, PTK Honor Society, and Presidents List. She received two scholarships: the Laurie M. Autry Memorial and the MCC FSA. Grace’s college experience is truly impressive. It’s clear that she is passionate about her profession and has worked hard to achieve such significant accomplishments during her time at Meridian Community College. She hopes to further her training in manual therapy and learn more about pediatric therapy.

Aside from college and work, Grace stays busy at home. She enjoys cooking, baking, reading, working out, and doing all things outdoors, such as fishing and hunting. Grace has been dating her boyfriend (her best friend) for three years. They have a four-year-old black lab, and she considers herself a “dog mom” but loves all animals. She grew up barrel racing and now rides her one horse on occasion. Grace grew up in church, and God is a big part of her life. She is thankful to Him for the opportunities He has given her.

Grace is joining an outstanding team at NGH. We are thrilled to have her as a partner and look forward to many opportunities for her to further her education and specialize in certification and training. We look forward to her progress and know she brings tremendous value to our company and our patients at Noxubee General Hospital.
