Azalea Commons welcomes Kirsten Bowen, OT!

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Occupational Therapist, Kirsten Bowen, OT. She serves at Azalea Commons, her home facility, and Yalobusha General Hospital.

Kirsten received her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State University and her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Alabama. In addition, she is a certified Lymphedema Therapist.

Kirsten is from Oxford and has been an OT for 12 years. She and her husband have two children, Hazel Ann, age 7, and Fox, two. She enjoys reading and traveling with her family.

We are grateful to have Kirsten join our Mid South therapy teams and look forward to seeing her patient’s recovery journeys.

Magee General Hospital Welcomes Stephanie McLaurin, ROM

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of full-time Office Manager Stephanie Payne-McLaurin, ROM. She serves at Magee General Hospital.

Stephanie is a cum laude graduate of Western University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science. She is especially interested in serving those in need through nonjudgemental eyes.

Stephanie is married to Bishop Danny R. Mclaurin, Tll. D., and they have three children, August, Alexander, and Hope. She has one grandson named Logan and a grand cat named Poseidon. Since her husband is a pastor, Stephanie has the opportunity to travel and meet new people regularly. In her spare time, she loves watching old sitcoms. The Nanny, Friends, and Facts of Life are her favorites. Stephanie and her baby girl, Hope, like to read together and play family board games. Tapple is their go-to.

We are thrilled to have Stephanie as a partner in our company. We look forward to many opportunities for her to progress in her new role.

Winston Medical Center Welcomes Penny Romedy, ROM

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of full-time Office Manager Penny Romedy, ROM. She serves at Winston Medical Center.

She received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Billing & Coding from East Mississippi Community College. In addition, she has experience working in a medical front office setting.

Penny grew up in Philadelphia, MS, but has lived in Starkville since 2012. She is a mom of 5 children and two dogs.

Penny is excited to join the Mid South family, and we are thrilled to have her as a partner in our company. We look forward to many opportunities for her to progress in her new role.
