UMMC Grenada is Pleased to Announce Hope Murphy, PTA

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Physical Therapy Assistant, Hope Murphy, PTA. Hope will be serving at our strategic partner facility, UMMC Grenada.

Hope has an impressive background in her field, beginning with a solid educational foundation. Hope graduated from Holmes Community College with an Associate of Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant and was Vice President of the 1st PTA class at Holmes receiving a Community Service Award. In addition, Hope has an interest in swing bed and acute care. We know that she is prepared to take on the physical therapy needs of the community, and we cannot wait to see her patients’ recovery journeys.

Hope, a current resident of Grenada and a lifetime resident of Grenada County, attended Grenada Public High School. She says she is humbled to be able to serve her community of Grenada and excited to begin therapy at her hometown hospital. When she is not helping patients recover, she enjoys spending time with her husband, TD, and their two young boys.

Hope is joining an incredible team of therapists led by Cody Lancaster, DPT, and Director of Rehab.
