Mid South & Friends of MS Veterans

In 2019, Steven Cole, President & CEO of Mid South Rehab Services, Inc., joined with the President of Friends of Mississippi Veterans (FOMV), Jack Winstead, the Director of MS Veterans Affairs, and Mr. Paul Breazeale to create a fundraising event for FOMV, a 501(c)3 non-profit charity.  FOMV was originally created to fund the development of military cemeteries within our state, but after that goal was reached, FOMV began new projects to enrich and honor the lives of our Mississippi Veterans.

As a veteran himself, Mr. Cole wholeheartedly supported the mission of FOMV, and together with his friends, partners, and an incredible action committee, they successfully held the Inaugural Sporting Clay Competition benefiting Friends of Mississippi Veterans in 2019.

Last year, the Sporting Clay and Golf Classic event raised over $230,000.  These funds went towards building two beautiful outdoor pavilions for our veterans to enjoy.

Now, after three years of truly remarkable success, this event has grown into a two-day experience featuring a Golf Classic at the Country Club of Jackson and our two-flight Sporting Clay Competition held at Providence Hill Farm.

We invite you to support our efforts and provide our Veterans with the resources they need to enhance and improve their quality of life.  They have made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country and we are committed to making a positive difference for those who so bravely served our Country for our freedom.
